The sale of Geniem Oy to Saari Partners

Applex Attorneys advised the sellers in the sale of Geniem Oy to a fund administered by Saari Partners. The transaction entered into force on 15 February 2022.

Geniem Oy is a Tampere based software company established in 2001 providing digital solutions for companies and organizations. Geniem Oy offers WordPress development, versatile knowledge on React application development, tailored web development and user-oriented digital service design. In 2021, the net sales of the company was approximately EUR 5 million.

The buyer Saari Partners is a Finnish fund manager established in 2018. The private equity fund Saari I administered by Saari Partners is built on the increase in value of traditionally operating SMEs in the service sector.
