Taratest Oy – Acquisition of a Majority Stake in Palsatech Oy and Palsatech Global Oy

Applex acted as Taratest Oy’s legal advisor in a share sale and purchase in which Taratest acquired majority share of the Kemi‑based Palsatech Oy and Palsatech Global Oy on 31 December 2025. The transaction is the largest in Taratest’s history and as a result Taratest is expanding to Lapland and Sweden.

Palsatech is a geo‑services company operating in the mining sector and mineral exploration in Lapland and Sweden. The company’s current management will continue in the service of the company also after the transaction.

Taratest Oy, originating from the Pirkanmaa region and operating nationwide, is an engineering consultancy specialized in geotechnics and environmental research, employing approximately 150 professionals. Taratest’s revenue is forecasted to rise to over EUR 23 million in the financial year ended on 31 December 2025. The private equity company Juuri Partners invested in Taratest in 2022.
